Art

St. Paul's art program employs a studio-based, hands-on curriculum through which students learn the important elements and principles of creating and appreciating art. Students create art works in several media including drawing, painting, sculpting, and printmaking. The art classroom houses two potter's wheels and a kiln. Art assignments provide students with creative outlets for self expression and improve problem solving skills. Students explore line, color, texture, balance, and proportion in all projects. Art history, culture, and critique are parts of each art assignment.
