Science Olympiad

St. Paul's sixth, seventh, and eighth graders participate in Science Olympiad. This international organization is devoted to "improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science, and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers."

Their tournaments (regional, state, and national) are "rigorous academic interscholastic competitions." Our students prepare for competition in teams all year with the assistance of teachers and parents. The events foster development of scientific knowledge, skills, and applications. With 23 possible events, any student can find something to interest her/him!
