Outdoor Adventures Trip

Each fall St. Paul's eighth grade class travels to North Carolina for one week of outdoor adventures. The trip is designed to stretch students' limits and to teach students to work cooperatively.
Typically, the students test their individual limits on a high ropes course, rock climbing, caving, hiking, and white water rafting. Students sleep outdoors, and trained counselors guide students through all the activities.
St. Paul's teachers accompany the students on the trip and help to foster team building. Students keep journals of their experiences and share them with students and teachers upon their return.
