Computer/Technology

St. Paul's recognizes the impact that advances in technology are making on education. Each classroom is equipped with computer work stations, and the school has two labs, each with twenty work stations. There are also two carts of laptops available for student use. Several smart boards are available for classroom use, and the school is on a wireless network. Teachers use technology as a tool to enhance the school's curriculum. Younger students use the labs to sharpen language, math, and thinking skills. Older students are equipped with the skills to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in classroom projects. Additionally, students learn basic web design, Photoshop, and desktop video editing. Students have access to the Internet in classrooms and in the computer labs. We also have a professional recording studio where the students learn the industry standard programs that today's top producers use. In this media lab, students take responsibility on completing professionally designed projects.
