Financial Aid at St. Paul’s enables students of promise to enroll who would not otherwise have access to independent education because of financial constraints.  The aid extended makes St. Paul’s more approachable for some applicant families, thus fostering outreach and creating a more diverse school.  The outreach has beneficial influence upon everyone within the school and carries outward in the city of New Orleans.  The school is unable to offer full aid to any one student candidate or family.  By design of policy and tradition then, families are encouraged to carry the major portion of the financial requirements of independent education. Those who wish to apply for financial aid must realize this is done each year by the candidates and is not a roll-over, nor an automatic process or procedure.  All financial aid information is treated with the utmost confidentiality by the Head of School and Business Office.  The same consideration is expected from the Parents/Guardians.

The entire application is processed on-line.  Families seeking financial aid must file an application through the Independent School Management Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) Program. FASTprovides St. Paul’s Episcopal School a need-based financial aid analysis service which ensures that our process for establishing financial need adheres to nationally established standards of best practice.  All information fromFASTis kept confidential, as is all information pertaining to a family’s financial aid request.

The application process is self-guided.  You may navigate in and out of the program, allowing you to partially complete an application and go back to it at another time.  Online e-mail and a 24/7 helpline is provided.  Please contact customer service at 877-326-3278 or by email if you have any questions.  The charge for the application is $41.00, to be paid by credit card at the end of the application.

After completing the online application, your application will only be complete when you mail your 2014 tax returns for both State and Federal taxes with all schedules and W-2s.  So, please be sure to file your taxes as early as possible.
