Learning That Grows with Your Child
At St. Paul’s Episcopal School, we believe meaningful learning begins with knowing and understanding each child. From our youngest learners through eighth grade, we create an environment where children are encouraged to wonder, explore, ask questions, and discover their strengths. Our approach nurtures the whole child while providing the academic foundation, confidence, and character needed to thrive.
Learning at St. Paul’s is active, engaging, and purposeful. Through hands-on and project-based experiences, students are encouraged to think deeply, solve problems, collaborate with others, and make connections between what they learn in the classroom and the world around them. We believe children learn best when they are both challenged and supported, and when they have the freedom to take thoughtful risks, make mistakes, and try again.
Our academic program balances strong foundational skills with opportunities for exploration and discovery. Alongside core academic subjects, students engage in STEM, sustainability and outdoor education, world languages, art, music, religious studies, technology, physical education, and service learning. As students progress through the grades, their learning becomes increasingly independent and interdisciplinary, while opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and real-world application continue to grow.
Our Episcopal tradition is an important part of the St. Paul’s experience. Through service, worship, community, and inclusiveness, students are encouraged to consider not only what they can learn, but how they can use their knowledge and talents to contribute to the world around them. We welcome students and families from diverse backgrounds and faith traditions and strive to create a community where every child is valued and respected.
From the wonder and play of the early years to the growing independence of middle school, our goal remains the same: to help students become curious learners, confident thinkers, effective communicators, compassionate leaders, and responsible members of their communities.
At St. Paul’s, education is more than preparing students for the next grade. It's about giving them the knowledge, skills, character, and confidence to embrace what comes next.
